Positive beats a bunch of photoshopped heads

As Illumination continues to ramp up the advertising and marketing marketing campaign for its upcoming launch The Tremendous Mario Bros. Film, the studio has launched a sequence of character posters spotlighting the Mushroom Kingdom and the heroes and villains that reside inside.

The posters are strikingly enticing, packed out with colour and dynamism, and see protagonists comparable to Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach headed out to battle with the likes of Donkey Kong, Shy Man, Magikoopa, and, after all, Massive Unhealthy Bowser himself. Every poster spotlights a selected character and world — from Rainbow Street, to Donkey Kong Island, to Bowser’s Citadel — with every picture hoping to get followers’ hype engines suitably in gear for the film’s spring launch.

I feel my favourite is Peach ridin’ the Rainbow Street, I love the intense colors and the wild perspective. The drama of the Bowser’s Military picture can also be top-tier. The poster which sees Peach, Toad, and Mario all sat admiring the Mushroom Kingdom is sort of beautiful. A text-free model of that may look nice on the wall of any online game fan.

The Tremendous Mario Bros. Film stars Chris Pratt (Mario), Anya Taylor-Pleasure (Peach), Keegan Michael-Key (Toad), Jack Black (Bowser), Seth Rogan (Donkey Kong), and Charlie Day (Luigi). It’s scheduled to launch in theaters within the UK and Europe in late-March. It would premiere in North America on April 7.
