Kitamura has been with FromSoftware for over a decade, first showing within the credit as Sound Designer for 2013’s Armored Core V. Their first composer credit score was for 2014’s Darkish Souls II, and they’d proceed on as a  FromSoftware composer by Bloodborne, Darkish Souls III, Sekiro, and Elden Ring.
